Rob Lowe's Father-Son Netflix Comedy Features Unstable and Occasional Nudity

The first thing you need know about Rob Lowe's new Netflix comedy Unstable is that he portrays a role called Ellis Dragon. That's right, surname name Dragon, first name Ellis.

Unstable, a television series created by Lowe, his son John Owen Lowe, and Victor Fresco, is about a gorgeous narcissist named Ellis Dragon, whose biotech firm suffers as he spirals (downward, of course) after the terrible Unstable Netflix death of his wife.

How is Ellis handling Unstable Netflix the death of his beloved Katie, then? Like any brilliant intellect, he spends his free time worrying over the spoons in his office kitchen, watching sad dog rescue videos, and occasionally just being naked at work. Please pardon me. Ellis tells his CFO Anna in the first episode, "I'd want to be nude again and feel the cold air on my sad genitalia.

Speaking about that excessively overworked CFO, Anna (played by Sian Clifford) thinks that using his son as an emotional support will be the only thing that will save Ellis from going over the edge. The problem? Ellis is very different from Jackson (John Owen), who gave up his intentions to pursue a career in bioengineering in favour of becoming a professional flautist. Unstable Netflix Maybe a flautist? Ellis, in all honesty, never bothered to study.

Meanwhile, Ellis' son and Ruby (Emma Ferreira), one of the company's finest brains, start a clear will they/won't they relationship after Jackson's arrival, as coworker Luna (Rachel Marsh) is keen to point out.

After a brief conversation regarding Katie's death and a terrible flute performance of Men at Work's "Down Under" that would force Lizzo to quit, Ellis and Jackson are able to get along.

Prior to the conclusion of the first episode, other issues develop, such as the fact that the company's sent-out therapist for Ellis' evaluation has reportedly been imprisoned in Ellis' basement for days after threatening to submit a less-than-positive appraisal of his mental health to the board. (You know, since abducting his Unstable Netflix therapist will just give him the appearance of being more stable.)

This first episode of Unstable provides you a very solid indication of what to expect even if it's primarily setup. Your decision to watch all eight episodes will solely depend on how Unstable Netflix much you enjoy the relationship between Lowe and his kid.
